The contents of the worm container should be emptied on top of the bedding. It is not necessary to mix with bedding. Put the lid on the bin after covering the bedding and worms with shredded paper. The bin can be kept in a shady spot in your yard or inside your house.

Worms can live for up to a year without food and water, so you’ll want to feed them every two to three days to keep them happy and healthy. If you don’t have a worm bin, you can feed the worms by placing them in water and letting them soak for a few minutes.
