Grass-type pokémon are immune to leech seed. Pokémon are immune to powder and spore moves and have a 30% chance of not taking damage from them. VII, if a Pokémon is hit by a Powder or Spore move, it will take no damage. Pokémon will still take damage if it is poisoned, burned, paralyzed, frozen, or knocked out.
Pokémon that have been poisoned or burned will be unable to use their moves for a short period of time if they are hit with a move that inflicts poison or burn, such as Toxic or Sludge Bomb. Poisoned and burned Pokémon can still use moves, but they will not be able to do so for as long as they were poisoned and/or burned. The duration of this effect is dependent on the type of the move used.
For example, a poisoned Pokémon using Poison Jab will have its duration reduced by half, while a burned one using Burn Up will only have half the duration cut off. This effect does not apply to moves that do not inflict poison and burn (such as Razor Leaf), nor does it apply if the target is already poisoned/burned at the time of use.

Does Leech Seed stay forever?
Unless your opponent uses a move like Rapid Spin, Leech Seed will last for an infinite amount of time in the Fifth Generation of Pokemon. Pokemon is poisoned, Poisoned, Paralyzed or Confused, the move will fail and you will be unable to use it for the rest of the game.
Generation, it has been changed so that it can only be used on Pokemon that have been poisoned or have used a move that has a chance of Poisoning them. This means that if you have a Pokemon with the ability Poison Heal, you can’t use this move on a poisoned Pokemon, and vice versa.
The only exception to this rule is if the Pokemon has the Ability Poison Point, in which case it will still be able to be poisoned even if it switches out.
What does leech seed not work on?
Attempts to seed a grass-type pokémon will fail, because leech seed will not work against them. Pokémon is already seeded, it will be removed from the list of Pokémon that can be seeded. Pokémon already has a seed, the seed is reset to 0.
Is Leech Seed good?
The leech seed move has a 90% accuracy. Being a status move, it does not hurt your opponent. I took away the damage, I’d have to take away half of the opponent’s health, which would be a lot of damage. It can be used as part of a Pokémon’s Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed stat moves.
Does Leech Seed work on dynamax?
Same goes for moves like Toxic and Leech Seed. Moves that inflict status effects or stat drops do not work on the Dynamax Pokemon if it has its’ barrier up. Dynamax moves do not cause their intended effects. For example, if you use Toxic on a dynamax, it will not inflict the status effect of Toxic, but will instead leave you with a burn. The same is true for the move Toxic Spikes, which inflicts poison instead of the intended poison.
Dynamax can also be affected by status conditions, such as Sleep, Confusion, and Confuse Ray. However, this is not as common as it used to be, due to the fact that it is immune to all of them. It can still be poisoned, however, as long as its barrier is up, so be sure to check its status before using any of its moves.
Does big root do more damage?
The big root increases the damage of draining moves. Ring can now be used on the same turn. Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash if the player used an item that was already in their inventory.
What move prevents a Pokémon from running?
A pokemon can’t switch out in trainer battles or run away in random battles because of trapping. Pokemon are unaffected by moves that will prevent them from fleeing. V, trapping does not prevent the user from using any moves. However, if a trapping move is used, the Pokemon will be unable to use any other moves for the rest of the battle.
VI and onward, it is possible for trapping to prevent a move from being used in a battle, but the move will still be able to be used if the trap is broken by another move, such as a Substitute or a Focus Punch. This is due to the fact that trapping only prevents the use of moves, not the moves’ effects.
For example, in Generation VII, a Pokémon that is trapped by a Shadow Ball can still use Shadow Sneak, Shadow Claw, and Shadow Force, even though it cannot use those moves if it was not trapped.
Is bullet seed better than razor leaf?
Seed charges much quicker than Razor Leaf, making it a great choice of Fast Attack for PVP even though it deals less energy, getting you to that much needed damage in a short amount of time. Seed can also be used as a recovery move, as it has a very high base power and can hit for a lot of damage.
However, it does not have the same recovery properties as other Grass-type moves, meaning that it will take a long time to recover back to full health after being hit by an attack. This can be mitigated by using Grass Knot or Grass Whistle, but it is still something to be aware of if you plan on using this move in the middle of a battle.
