Do wind spinners keep birds away?

As soon as birds get used to the noise, they’ll likely return, but any unusual or unexpected noises do work to keep birds away. It’s not likely that placing wind chimes in your yard will work in the long run. First of all, you’ll need a piece of wood that’s at least 6 inches in diameter.

You can buy this wood at any hardware store, or you can make it yourself. The easiest way to do this is to use a drill press. Next, drill a small hole at the top of each chime. This will allow the wind to blow through the holes and create the sound you’re looking for.

Once you’ve drilled all of your holes, glue the pieces together with hot glue. Make sure the glue is completely dry before you put it on your wood, as it can be very difficult to remove once it dries.

What smells will keep birds away?
