Can all cardboard be composted?

Unfortunately, shiny cardboard coated in plastic can’t be composted, so we accept cardboard that is uncoated with no heavy dyes. Valuable space in our trailer is taken up by broken down boxes and requires additional labor to break them down. These are not recycleable and are free from tape or labels.
