It’s free during the winter weekdays: tuesday–friday, december–february. During the year, members of theBBG receive free admission to all public festivals. Children under the age of 12 are free of charge. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 6.
What should I wear to the Botanical Gardens?

Does Brooklyn Museum have a free day?
On free thursdays, the brooklyn museum is open. Fridays are a great way to get in the spirit of the holiday season. This week, the museum will be offering free admission for the entire month of December.
The museum is located on the second floor of Prospect Park, just a few blocks from the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and is open every day from 10:00 a. m. to 5:45 p. m., except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and the first Monday in January.

Is Botanic Gardens dark at night?
I think it would be nice to have some sort of night time lighting at the botanical gardens. It would make it a lot easier for people to get in and out.
